About Eastbourne Hearing Centre

The Eastbourne Hearing Centre was first established in 1948 above what was then Bateson’s Chemist in Cornfield Road, Eastbourne. In the mid 1950’s it was taken over by my father, Leslie Sperring, who developed the practice over the next 40 years, moving it to its second home in Bolton Road.

In 1990, I joined my father helping him to move to larger premises at its current location in South Street. I subsequently took over the practice, steadily growing the amount of patients we have helped with countless different types and degrees of hearing loss.

I have gradually over the years, introduced more and more up to date technology and have also maintained independence from any manufacturer. This means that I am able to choose from a vast range of hearing aids, to ensure that when you come to my practice, you will be provided with the best: the best technology from the best manufacturer. Without bias.

I want each patient to be delighted with his or her new hearing. I want the experience of visiting us to be pleasurable, which is why my staff will always try their hardest to solve any problem with the minimum of fuss, and with politeness and kindness.
